Synco make a variety of Blast Room Systems to perform blasting operation inside an enclosure. Basically a Blast Room Systemis made of: (A) Blast room enclosure, (B) Abrasive recovery system-mechanical or pneumati, (C) Abrasive Blaster S7-500 R or S7-1000 R, (D) Material handling device.

Synco offers modular-blasting rooms customized to your needs. Blasting room is suitable for blasting of variety of jobs. Small to large sized jobs with complex shapes and irregular surfaces can be manually blast cleaned / peened in the blast room. Blast room unit consists of Blast room, abrasive recovery system (manual, semi automatic and automatic), Compressed Air Assisted Pressure Blasting Machines (intermittent or continuous blasting) / Single or multiple wheel air less centrifugal-mechanical, dust extraction unit, and operator’s safety wears. Blast rooms are of fabricated construction through replaceable steel sections bolted together. The room is rubber lined and / or provided with manganese steel liners or a combination of two to save walls from accelerated wear due to re-bounding shots / media. The room is adequately illuminated for good visibility along with adequate ventilation for clear visibility and operator’s comfort, which is further enhanced by use of devices like helmet air conditioners with Carbon particle filters for good quality breathing air. Blast room can be provided with optional material handling systems such as track mounted trolley with/without turntable and motorized winching arrangement, overhead mono-rail conveyor, overhead crane hook at the center of blast room, job rotating arrangement with idler rollers with rpm control with or without internal and external nozzle lancing with or without job tilting for evacuation of media and debris etc. as per customer’s requirement. Job size and weight are not a limitation. Blast room can come with Single door / double door / vestibule arrangement for line production and it can be combined with paint / metal spray booth. Abrasive recovery system can be semi-automatic where abrasive is swiped manually into pit hopper having AE (abrasive ejection) unit. AE unit lifts the abrasive to hopper for re-use. Automatic abrasive recovery system consists of perforated floor, from where abrasive after blasting falls into multi-hoppers beneath the floor. Screw conveyors provided inside the multi-hoppers transfer abrasive to boot section of bucket elevator. Bucket elevator lifts the abrasive and discharges it into abrasive separator. Oversized and undersized particles/debris are sieved and usable abrasive is washed with air. Clean abrasive is stored in storage hopper for recycling. In place of screw conveyor and bucket elevator, a pneumatic abrasive recovery system can also be provided. CC –TV facility for monitoring blasting quality can be provided. Acoustic room for housing control panel and operator can be provided. Portable blasting machines (see portable blasting machines) can be attached to blasting room as per customer’s requirement. Dust extraction unit (cyclone type / fabric filter bags type / filter cartridge type) with motorized bag shaking / reverse pulse jet system for cleaning of bags / Cartridges can be provided.
