Pneumatic Abrasive Recovery System Description: The unit will have TWO suction heads (Guns) to be manipulated manually for suction of abrasive (Grits/Shots/Aluminium Oxide etc.) The suction heads will be fitted in flexible abrasive suction Hoses. The abrasive is sucked by vacuum suction draft created by vacuum pump through suction hose and discharged to cyclone by abrasive separator. The dust laden air is passed to cartridge type dust collector, where dust is arrested and clean air is discharged. Complete unit will be mounted on a trolley with wheels. It can be moved as per requirement. It will have four manual Jacks to lift the complete unit with trolley and provide stability during operation. Suction Heads (Guns): Two nos. of specially designed suction heads will be provided. The suction heads have to be manually manipulated for suction of abrasive. Suction heads will have brushed at the suction inlet of head to provide the breathing air for suction of abrasive. Heads will be connected flexible suction hoses for transfer of media to abrasive separator. As per requirement, one or both suction heads can be made operative. If one suction head is made operative, it will have capacity to suck the abrasive with longer distance and greater depth. If both the heads are made operative, the suction capacity of vacuum pump is divided into two. However, both the heads can be made operative for 15 m hose length. Abrasive Separator: A cyclone type abrasive separator will be provided to separate the abrasive from dust-laden air. A cyclone action inside the reclaimer separates the heavier abrasive particles from the air. Separated abrasive will pass though vibrating screen to sieve out the large size particle from sucked abrasive. The separated and clean abrasive will get stored in storage hopper provided at the bottom of reclaimer. Periodically abrasive can be discharged from storage hopper by opening the bottom door manually. Dust Collector (Cartridge Element Type Dust Collector): The dust collector will be reverse pulse jet filter cartridge type. It will have 9 filter cartridges. All the filter elements will be automatically cleaned periodically by reverse pulse of air jet. The air jet is controlled by timer operated solenoid valves. The filter cartridge thus remains clean and hence clean air is discharged into the atmosphere. The dust collector will be fitted with relief valve for safety purpose of vacuum pump. Vacuum Pump: A vacuum pump operated by 30 hp electric motor will be provided. Vacuum pump will be provided with all the necessary fittings required for operation of vacuum pump like electric motor, safety valve, guards, anti-vibration pads etc. will be provided. Approx.
